Privacy Policy

How and.guide handles site delivery data, contact and subdomain requests, advertising technology, cookies, and privacy choices.

This Privacy Policy explains how 1990Company handles information connected with the public and.guide website. It also describes the third-party services used to deliver the site, protect request forms, and support advertising on eligible editorial pages.

Operator details

  • Operator: 1990Company
  • Location: South Korea
  • Public website: and.guide
  • Editorial desk: 1990Company Editorial Desk
  • Privacy contact: admin@and.guide

1. Information processed when you visit

and.guide does not currently offer reader accounts, checkout, public comments, or newsletter registration. Normal website delivery can still involve processing:

  • IP address and approximate network location
  • browser, device, and operating-system information
  • requested URL, referring URL, request time, and response status
  • security, cache, and diagnostic information generated by the delivery network
  • cookie, local-storage, advertising, or consent identifiers when the relevant feature is active

This information is used to deliver pages, secure the site, diagnose failures, understand aggregate site operation, and support advertising on eligible content pages.

2. Contact and subdomain requests

If you email the operator, and.guide receives your email address and the information you include in the message.

The optional subdomain request flow may also process:

  • the requested hostname
  • your contact email
  • project purpose and description
  • optional project name and project URL
  • a request reference, submission time, and delivery status
  • an anti-abuse verification token when Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled

Depending on the configured delivery mode, the form either prepares an email in your device’s email client or submits the request to an operator-controlled webhook for manual review. A format or availability check is not a promise that a name will be approved or provisioned.

3. Google AdSense and advertising data

Eligible editorial pages may load Google AdSense code. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, user-agent information, consent signals, and other identifiers to:

  • deliver and limit the frequency of ads
  • select personalized or non-personalized ads, where permitted
  • measure ad delivery, performance, and interactions
  • detect fraud, abuse, and invalid traffic
  • generate aggregated reporting

Google explains how it uses information from sites and apps that use its services in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Google may use advertising cookies to serve ads based on a visitor’s prior visits to this or other websites. You can review or change Google advertising choices in Google My Ad Center and learn about additional industry opt-out choices at YourAdChoices.

and.guide does not place ad units on its 404 page, policy pages, contact page, subdomain request flow, or API documentation. Advertising code is limited to the home page, guide library, and guide articles.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google requires a Google-certified consent management platform when consent is needed for personalized advertising. Google may present a consent message that lets eligible visitors accept, reject, or manage advertising purposes and vendors. The availability and wording of those controls can depend on location and the active Google privacy-message configuration.

Where a privacy-options control is displayed, use it to revisit your consent choices. You can also use the advertising-choice links in section 3. Blocking or clearing browser cookies may reset stored choices.

5. Cloudflare site delivery and Turnstile

Cloudflare provides DNS, caching, security, and request delivery for and.guide. Cloudflare may process connection and security data needed to deliver and protect the site.

When the subdomain request flow requires abuse protection, it loads Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile evaluates limited browser and interaction signals and returns a verification token to the request endpoint. Cloudflare describes this processing in its Turnstile privacy documentation.

Guides link to third-party documentation. Opening an external link makes your request subject to that provider’s own privacy policy. and.guide does not control how an external site processes information after you leave this site.

7. Sharing and sale of personal information

Information may be processed by service providers used for site delivery, security, request handling, and advertising, including Cloudflare and Google. The operator does not sell contact emails or subdomain-request details.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect the site and its users, or to investigate fraud and abuse.

8. Retention

Infrastructure logs are retained according to provider settings and operational needs. Contact messages and request records are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, review a request, prevent abuse, document a decision, or meet legal obligations.

9. Your choices and requests

You can:

  • browse without sending a contact or subdomain request
  • manage Google advertising choices using the links in section 3
  • use a displayed consent message or privacy-options control where available
  • block or clear cookies through your browser settings
  • request access, correction, or deletion of information you previously submitted by emailing admin@and.guide

Some records may need to be retained for security, legal, or abuse-prevention reasons.

10. Children

and.guide is a technical publication and is not directed to children. The operator does not knowingly request personal information from children through the public site.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy is updated when the site’s data practices or service providers change materially. The date shown at the top of the page is the latest revision date.

12. Contact
